The 3 degree wedge pads are mainly for raising the angle of rear hooves suffering from the pain of underrun /collapsed heels. The wedges will also aid fit on back boots due to the under development of the digital cushion especially with off the track thoroughbreds.
They can also occasionally fit front hooves. They are made of rubber so will aid sore hooves in general.
