Terms and Conditions
(a) The reseller shall follow the supplier’s recommendations when handling and selling the products covered by this condition.
b) The reseller and the staff must have the right education. We offer product education to all our new resellers online. You book the product education by sending us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Scootboots Scandinavia recommended all our resellers to:
- You have watched Scootboot’s informational videos which you can find on scootbootsscandinavia.com. There are many videos on Youtube too, search for scootboots.
- You follow our recommendations regarding sizing and fitting. Please read our instructions for customers here: https://scootboots.se/storlek-passform/
- You place an order on a bag of Sizing kit to use when helping customers finding the correct size
- Learn to install Ice studs on Scootboots to be able to inform your customers
- You learn to heat stretch the Scootboots with a heat gun and boiling water to be able to customize the Scootboots if necessary, see video here: how to heat stretch with boiling water
- That you are aware of our most common accessories in order to be able to recommend them when they are needed. Mud Straps, Anti Slip Shims, Ice studs and Endurance Gaiters.

The reseller are able to purchase the supplier’s products to current prices as shown and published on the webshop www.scootbootsscandinavia.com to the price displayed after logging in. We reserve us the right to make price adjustments. RRP is available at www.scootboots.se and is a guideline for your pricing.
We offer payment by invoice for our Swedish reseller in collaboration with Payson AB.
Companies that pay by invoice must be registered in Sweden and must pay the invoice within 30 days. The invoice will be sent separately by e-mail to the e-mail address you specify at the time of purchase. In the event of late payment, a payment reminder will be sent, in which case a statutory reminder fee of SEK 60 will be added. We also charge interest on arrears at 2% per month from the due date of the invoice. In the event of non-payment, the case is submitted for collection, whereby a statutory collection fee of currently SEK 180 will be added. Payson reserves the right in individual cases to refuse delivery and reconsider the customer’s creditworthiness.

Information about pledging
When paying against Invoice, the invoice will be pledged to Payson and then to SVEA Ekonomi AB, 556489-2924. For customer outside of Sweden we required purchase directly with VISA, MasterCard.
Prices and payment
Each item is listed with price excluding VAT. When placing orders within Sweden the totally costs including 25% VAT and shipping cost is shown in checkout. For customers outside of Sweden when typing in your VAT number you will shop without VAT. Payment terms are specified in the shopping cart depending on the chosen payment method. For our Swedish resellers we required invoice or direct payment through Payson. For our resellers outside Sweden we required direct payment through Payson. I is important that our resellers check its home countrys rules for VAT and TAX payment.
Delivery and stock terms
Delivery and warehousing are handled in their entirety by Tidsam AB in Värnamo. Shipping costs within Sweden is 144 SEK ex VAT on orders that have an order value of less than 5000 SEK ex VAT. Shipping costs outside of Sweden is 300SEK. Shipping are used by DB SCHENKER parcel within Sweden and UPS outside of Sweden. Tidsam AB has the right to change delivery alternatives if necessary. Shipping costs outside of Sweden is based on wight and will shown in cart.
Orders within Sweden placed on day 0 before 12:00 must be delivered from stock no later than day 1.
The warehouse’s opening hours are 07:00 – 16:00 on weekdays. The day before red day, the warehouse closes at 15:00. Warehouse address is: Scootboots c / o Tidsam AB (2), Silkesvägen 43, 331 53 Värnamo.
Risk transfer and liability
The risk for the goods passes from the supplier to the retailer once they have been delivered. Prior to this time, the supplier is responsible for any damage that occurs as well as other costs related to the products. This applies provided that the costs incurred do not depend on the dealer. Even after the goods have been delivered, the supplier is responsible for damages that have been deemed to have existed even before the delivery. The dealer is responsible for damages and costs that arise after the risk transfer that are not due to the supplier and can be assessed as original. Upon receipt of goods, the packaging must be inspected and in the event of any transport damage, this must be reported directly to the shipping company.
The reseller must market the products at its own expense. The supplier is obliged to provide the necessary information regarding the products so that the dealer can market in a good way. The reseller must draw up a marketing plan that must be in line with current rules and laws. Necessary marketing materials are available at www.scootbootsscandinavia.com. Logotype to be used is available for download at www.scootbootsscandinavia.com and must contain the text “approved stockist”. High resolution logotype for prints to stores without the text “approved stockist” is available. Just send us an email to email@example.com and we will send this for you.
These terms do not prevent the supplier from establishing similar terms with third parties. The reseller has no exclusive right to sell the products covered by this condition.
If any party is prevented or can only at an unreasonably high cost fulfill its obligations under this agreement due to for example, war, riots, blockade, fire, natural disaster, serious spread of infection or any other circumstance over which they have no control or could have foreseen, they are released from the fulfillment of their obligations under this
agreement and from the obligation to pay damages.
Warranties and service
In case of any complaints, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Usually the boots have a 3 month warranty for manufacturing defects. Swedish purchase law applies. The guarantee does not apply in the event of normal wear and tear, mismanagement of the product, accident after the customer has received the product. Nor when buying the wrong size. The guarantee can consist of repair that the seller is responsible for, price reduction, replacement of goods or alternative credit.
If there is a defect in the product, the defect must be reported within a reasonable time, which is a maximum of 2 months after the defect is discovered. It is called by Swedish law “within a reasonable time”. In the event of an approved complaint, the product is replaced with a new one or with a credit.
When you place your order with us, you provide your personal information. In connection with your registration and order, you agree that we store and use your information in our business to fulfill the agreement with you. According to the Personal Data Act, you have the right to receive the information we have registered about you. If it is incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant, you can request that the information be corrected or deleted. In that case, contact us by email.
